How can I improve the scoring performance for my account?

You can improve the scoring performance of your account by tracking the fraud score distribution of your traffic. Depending on your goal, you can use different data points to adjust the score of risk rules. 


Option 1:  You will need to have a look at the risk flags distribution of the chargebacks and notifications of fraud received. The score of risk checks flagged by Revenue Protect with most chargebacks will therefore need to be increased. 

Option 2:

→ You will need to focus on the rules that are causing most risk refusals and adjust their scores accordingly (mainly by lowering them). 


In order to do either: 

  1. Use our Risk Report: Customer Area > Reporting > Risk reports. 
  2. Scroll down to the “Risk checks flagged by Revenue Protect” graph. 
  3. You can filter on any given transaction outcome and identify which flags are linked to which outcome.
