How do I manage fraud?

Managing your fraud levels can be done in different ways:

  1. We recommend you to review your risk profiles periodically, as fraudsters tend to change their tactics regularly. You can also learn from incoming fraud cases by identifying new fraud patterns. For example, a large amount of orders being delivered to a warehouse.
  2. Have a regular look at the Risk Reports  to check the balance between acceptance rates and declines rates. For example, if your issuing bank decline rates are significantly higher than the risk engine decline rates, you might need to set up stricter risk rules to block the fraudulent attempts before the card issuing banks do.
  3. If you are planning to enter a new market or a new region, this would require a change risk set strategy. For example, introduce a new risk profile or create new Dynamic 3D Secure rules.
