How can I replace sensitive data with non-sensitive data for my payments?

What is payment tokenization?

Tokenization is a process of replacing sensitive data with non-sensitive data. In the payments industry, it is used to protect a card’s Primary Account Number (PAN) by replacing it with a unique string of numbers.

This way you can securely store one or more payment details per shopper. This lets you offer subscription payments, automatic top-ups to shopper accounts, and give your shoppers a faster checkout experience by using their stored card.

Tip: Check out the benefits of tokenization and learn how to set it up.

Create and use a token for recurring payments.
