Insufficient refund balance
You may receive the message "insufficient in-process funds when making a refund". It means there isn’t enough available balance on your business account to process the refund.
We advise you to set up a Reserve to ensure you always have enough available balance for refunds. The Reserve is a separate balance in which you can keep funds that’ll be used for refunds, chargebacks, and other operational expenses.
Tip: You don’t have to set up a Reserve, but remember that your refunds will fail if you don’t have sufficient funds in your balance.
