What does "RReq not received from DS" mean?

When trying to perform a 3DS transaction, you might get a refusal with as refusal reason "RReq not received from DS". This means that the shopper didn't complete the challenge correctly, or that the ACS did not send the RReq due to technical reasons. When this happens, there is not much you can do, as this is not an integration error, so the best thing to do is to let the shopper try to pay again.
