How can I set a Static IP Address on my Terminal?

Configuring a terminal with a static IP address is recommended when using the terminal with an integrated POS. This will make it so that the terminal always gets assigned the same IP address.

Configuring IP addresses can be done on DHCP servers, but when this is not an option, it can be done directly on the terminal.

  1. Access the Admin Menu (9 + Green)
  2. Select Network
  3. Select the correct network interface used by your terminal (Ethernet, WiFi, etc...)
  4. Select TCP/IP Settings
  5. In order to set up static IP addresses please make sure the DHCP option is turned off
  6. Tap the IP address field and change it manually
  7. Save your changes

Please also note that a terminal should be given its own unique IP address. If multiple devices on a network try to share a single IP address, it's likely that only one or neither will have a real network connection.

If you experience issues with network connectivity, please review our network requirements.
