The cardholder informed us they cancelled the dispute. Why is this not reflected in the Adyen Customer Area?

A cancelled or reversed chargeback will not always have an updated status in the Adyen Customer Area.

If the status is Chargeback, we require a bank letter with an explanation of the date, the amount and the transaction code that was used to reverse the chargeback.

Without this information, we are not able to confirm whether the chargeback has been actually cancelled. 


If the status is ChargebackReversed, it means that funds have been booked (back) into your account and no action is required.
