Why has the status of a dispute changed from ChargebackReversed to (Second) Chargeback?

The status of a dispute can change from chargeback reversed to (second) chargeback, because the cardholder's bank has declined the information uploaded by the merchant in response to the first chargeback.

Majority of the second chargebacks are issued and depending on the reason code, cardholder's continue to challenge for example the delivery of goods/ services or that the transaction is fraudulent.

Second chargeback is often the final status of a chargeback and stands for a lost dispute.
